JDC (Java Developer Conference)

Is one of the largest conferences in the Middle East and North Africa organized by Java Community.

The objective of JDC is to introduce the latest Java technologies and productivity tools by the technology makers themselves to the Egyptian developer.

Egyptian Java User Group (EGJUG)

Is a group of people who share a common interest in Java technology in Egypt and meet on a regular basis to share technical ideas and experience.

EGJUG is the first Java Community in Egypt supported by Sun Microsystems and other companies. Its objective is to help in the development of Java developers in Egypt by organizing technical seminars/conferences to increase their skill level.

EGJUG is an active community. It was nominated as the best Java user group in the Middle�East, and is currently one of the top 60 Java user groups in the world.

EGJUG is founded by Ahmed Hashim at 2005. Ahmed Hashim is the EGJUG founder & leader, he is also a Sun Java Champion.
